The Consunji-owned DMCI Homes Inc. expects reservation sales to reach P11 billion this year, up 46.67 percent from the previous year, as it aims to nearly double the number of units to be turned over to clients.
At the same time, DMCI president and chief executive officer Isidro Consunji said the company is eyeing a net income of more than P1 billion compared with only P700 million in 2007.
Last year, DMCI Homes sold a total of 3,577 units and turned over 1,835 units. For this year, the company is planning to deliver 3,000 units and increase this further to 4,000 units in 2009.
Consunji said the company is ready to turn over the first of six high-rise towers of Tivoli Garden Residences in Mandaluyong this year. Each tower has about 24 to 28 levels.
From 1999 to 2007, the company sold 8,432 units.
DMCI Homes has carved a niche for itself in the middle-income market by offering the best value for money.
Consunji said the company is the only one in the industry that delivers products 10 months from groundbreaking.
To prepare for the next construction boom, DMCI Homes has lined up five new projects located in Las Piñas, Pasig, V. Mapa, Pasay and Quezon City which are estimated to make available some 4,000 units.
Aside from this, the company is beefing up its landbank with plans to acquire properties in Tandang Sora, Fairview, and Sucat, Parañaque.
DMCI Homes just acquired two properties in Mandaluyong which will be developed into a residential complex.
Among the ongoing or completed projects of the company include an 86-hectare township in Taguig City dubbed Township Center, Riverfront Residence (a mid-rise community in Marikina), Rosewood Pointe (which will feature two Asian-inspire high-rise buildings and eight medium-rise buildings), Cypress Tower (a high-rise residential building in Taguig), and the Alta Vista Boracay ( a condotel –residential community in Boracay).
Other projectS include Sycamore Tower Dansalan Gardens, a three-tower high-rise condominium located in the center of Mandaluyong; The Manors at Celebrity Place in Quezon City, Raya Garden Condominiums in Parañaque, Bonifacio Heights (the first off-base condominium housing project of the Armed Forces of the Philippines locate in Fort Bonifacio), and Mayfield Park Residences in Pasig City.
