MANILA, Philippines - Property developer Earth+Style Corp. is allocating P1 billion in 2010 for the development of six projects in response to the growing demand by the middle market for more housing units, a company executive said.
Earth+Style president Victor Manarang said the company will be busy this year as the real estate sector is generally believed to grow, on strong macroeconomic fundamentals and steady inflows of remittances from Filipino expatriates.
“Earth+Style is going to push the expansion of the current projects in Cavite and Laguna to accommodate more clients,” said Manarang.
The six property projects are the Jubilation Home Village West, Jubilation Home Village East, Jubilation Home Village South, One Asia Business Center, the Promenade and Casa Bellissima.
Manarang said Earth+Style is giving an equal push in developing the projects in anticipation of a brisk demand for housing units mostly from the middle income segment, acknowledged as the biggest growth driver in the overall property sector.
The Jubilation West is composed of two phases with a total of 16.9 hectares. Lot sizes range from 132 sqm to 180 sqm. The 13.9-hectare Jubilation East offers lots with sizes from 221 sqm to 400 sqm. While the Jubilation South offers lots from 132 sqm to 315 sqm within a 7.8-hectare project. These three residential projects exude the Asian laid-back lifestyle complete with amenities and facilities.
Furthermore, Manarang said the company is also going to expand the One Asia Business Center to accommodate more locators in the near future.
One Asia Business Center is the first state-of-the-art business and commercial hub in the south located within the 150-hectare Jubilation New Binan township community. It will offer office and commercial lots in a park-like setting. Land development of Phase 1B began in April 2009.
Meanwhile, Manarang said Earth+Style is continuing to develop American-inspired Promenade South, the commercial lots development component of a residential community called The Promenade Residences. The project is located along Molino-Paliparan Road in Cavite.
Promenade South is essential in making the entire master-planned project a self-sustaining community as it will serve the employees of the business located in it as well as the residents of nearby areas.
Also in Cavite, Manarang said the company is developing Piazza Bellissima, the Italian-inspired commercial lots development project along the busy Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Imus, adjacent to its residential component – Casa Bellissima.
Piazza Bellissima is geared as a “pocket commercial development”. One of its unique features is having a natural captive market from nearby subdivisions and transient markets, aside from its residential counterpart. It is envisioned to become a major commercial hub along the Aguinaldo Highway.
