De Castro lauded Lee for developing a community for low-income families that will cater to residents of this city and nearby towns of Mexico and Magalang.
Lee said the residents of Sameerah will enjoy various amenities, including free primary and secondary school, wet and dry market, barangay hall, clubhouse, a transport terminal, and sports facilities.
He said the housing area, which has affordable units for as low as P2,728.35 a month, is open to Pag-Ibig and non Pag-Ibig members.
The new low-cost housing area is another project of Globe Asiatique Realty Holdings Corporation.
Lee said it was developed upon De Castro’s advice during the launching of Xevera Subdivision in Mabalacat town.
“Kaya ginawa natin ang Sameerah para mapagsilbihan natin ang ating mga kababayan,” Lee said.
Other personalities who graced the launching of the low-cost housing include Monsignor Jun Mercado, Mexico Mayor Teddy Tumang, Senior Superintendent Danilo Bautista, Sonny Lopez, and lawyer Pinggoy Lopez, among others. (Reynaldo G. Navales)
