REAL ESTATE
developer Century Properties Group, Inc. sold before December last year all
1,432 units at the recently completed The Gramercy Residences, the firm’s
upscale residential tower in Makati City, a senior company official said over
the weekend.
“Yes, we’ve sold out all the units before the
start of turnover in December 2012. Turnover is still ongoing,” Terrie
Fucanan-Yu, Century Properties vice-president for corporate communications,
said in a text message yesterday when asked on the selling status of Gramercy.
Gramercy is a
72-storey residential condominium in Century City, Century Properties’
3.4-hectare mixed-use project along Kalayaan Avenue in Bel-Air, Makati City.
Gramercy, completed last year, has 1,432 units and has a gross floor area of
121,595 square meters.
“In the past,
a condominium was considered upscale or luxurious for its physical qualities --
architecture, material specifications, furnishings. When we introduced
Gramercy, we thought of raising the bar by introducing new features, amenities
and hotel-style service that will further enhance the residential experience,”
John Victor R. Antonio, Century Properties chief operating officer, said in a
statement last Saturday.
Gramercy
units were offered in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom flat and loft
layouts, with an average 40-square-meter one-bedroom unit price pegged at P145,000
per square meter, the statement read. Gramercy amenities include a grand lobby,
hotel-style concierge and front desk services, as well as SkyPark amenity
floors that have swimming pools, gymnasiums, a day-care center, theater,
lounge, spa, sun deck, game room, restaurant-café, and a lounge restaurant-bar
on the building’s 71st floor that is set to open next semester.
Century
Properties shares gained three centavos to close at P2.38 each last Friday. --
