SM Hotels and
Conventions Corp., a unit of SM Investments Corp., said Thursday it signed a
management agreement with Hilton Worldwide to manage the 350-room Conrad Manila
at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
SM
Investments said in a statement posted on its Web site that Conrad Manila would
open in mid-2015. The hotel is the first Conrad Hotels & Resorts branded
property in the Philippines.
The hotel
will incorporate two levels of retail and entertainment facilities on the
ground level.

expertise of a global, award-winning hospitality company with SM’s strong local
market expertise,” said Elizabeth Sy, president of SM Hotels.
“Given Conrad
Manila’s excellent accessibility to and from all areas of Manila, we are

demand from both domestic and international business and leisure
travelers,” she said.
