MANILA, Philippines - For the third
straight year, leading real estate firm DMCI Homes was again conferred the Gold
Award as Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand among property developers in the
Philippines. No less than DMCI Homes’ president Alfredo Austria received the
award on behalf of the company during the awards ceremony held at Crowne Plaza
Hotel.
Now on its 16th year, the Reader’s
Digest’s consumer survey award for the most trusted brands in Asia has since
become a symbol of prestige and confidence for organizations looking for the
ultimate seal of approval from consumers for their products and services. In
this year’s survey for the Philippines, DMCI Homes was one of three Gold
awardees distinguished for their services under the property developer
category.
“We are happy that consumers surveyed
by Reader’s Digest have continued to trust our company,” beamed Austria. “The
consumer’s trust is very important to us; that’s why we have always made it a
point to keep focusing on good quality products and services.”
Austria attributes the strong belief
to the brand for its premium resort themed mid-rise communities that the
company has pioneered since 1999, its first foray into the housing construction
business. The resort-effect has been made possible through the company’s
innovative and proprietary design technology called “Lumiventt” in its
high-rise projects. This architectural configuration features cross-ventilation
to facilitate the natural flow of light and air throughout the building’s
structure - from the hallways, to the common areas, and even inside residential
units. Further enhancing its effect is having windows on both sides of the unit
facing the hallways, and the side of the unit facing the exterior of the
building.
Throughout the years, DMCI Homes has
steadily built a reputation for building premium and quality homes. It has also
carved a niche in the industry as the premier developer of resort-inspired
residential communities in areas close to key business districts. To date, the
company has been providing innovative urban living solutions such as
competitive prices, generous amenities, and larger units and configurations
suited to the real needs of startup families in key urban centers in the metro
such as in Mandaluyong, Quezon City and Taguig.
Some of these developments include the
Zinnia Towers located along North EDSA in Quezon City; the One Castilla Place
in Valencia, Quezon City; and Lumiere Residences in Pasig City.
In her speech delivered during the
awards, Sue Carney, the editor-in-chief of Reader’s Digest, said that this
year’s consumer survey enabled them to learn new things. “Trust is now more
important than ever. It is an essential component between a brand and its
customers. Trust goes hand-in-hand with a good reputation. It helps build
loyalty, and loyal customers act as a brand’s ambassador. In fact, 95 percent
of consumers we’ve surveyed this year said they’ll pay a little bit more for
brands that they trust.”
