Full-scale development work on the Fisher Mall in Quezon City will soon get underway with the appointment of the general contractor and other service contractors that will handle the various aspects of the multibillion-peso project owned by Mallers Investment Corp.
The appointment was sealed during the signing of the general contracting service agreement between officials of Mallers Investment led by its chairman, Roberto del Rosario; and Metro Stonerich, led by Engineer Bong Nuno, president.
Metro Stonerich, an ISO 9001:2008 certified firm and a category “AAA” licensee from the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board, will manage and supervise the general construction work on the 104,000-square meter shopping mall located at a 1.9-hectare prime property in the heart of Quezon City.
Fisher Mall will host numerous establishment-tenants and is poised to become a visible attraction to millions of daily commuters and motorists, especially to visitors from points north of Manila who enter the city through the shopping mall’s familiar location that serves as gateway to the urban center.
Its strategic location at the former Pantranco bus terminal junction of Quezon Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue, where two busy major road arteries running throughout the city converge, makes Fisher Mall accessible to both public and private transport services.
Fisher Mall is expected to be completed in 2013.
