All Value Holdings to double number of
AllHome branches
MANILA, Philippines - The group led by
real-estate tycoon and former Sen. Manuel B. Villar Jr. is pouring in as much
as P6 billion over the next two years to beef up the presence of its one-stop
home improvement store in the country.
All Value Holdings Corp., the private
retail holding firm of the Villar family, plans to invest P2.7 billion to P3
billion to double its AllHome branches to 12 this year, its top executive said
over the weekend.
“We plan to put up another six this year. The
difference this year is that all these new branches will be big. The first six
was a mix of big and small stores,” Villar said.
Next year, Villar said the group would
likely be spending the same amount to open six more AllHome outlets.
“Sales of our first six branches were very
encouraging. Results of the first year are so encouraging that it made us go
full blast this year and next year,” he said.
All Value last Saturday already opened
the first of the six new AllHome stores this year in Daanghari, Vista City.
AllHome Daanghari is the retail firm’s 7th AllHome outlet and its biggest store
to date.
Villar said three more stores would
open in the next three to four months while the remaining two would be launched
towards the end of the year.
He said locations of the upcoming
stores this year would be in Sta. Rosa, Imus, Las Pinas, and Antipolo.
Size of each store would range from
7,000 square meters to 9,000 square meters and can be expanded up to 12,000
square meters, Villar said.
AllHome Daanghari occupies almost
10,000 square meters of floor area with two floors filled with a wide range of
household brands, furniture and decors.
Other existing AllHome branches are
located in Taguig, Bulacan, Muntinlupa, Alabang, Pampanga, and Cebu.
For next year, Villar said AllHome
would take a step outside Mega Manila and start venturing in major cities in
Visayas and Mindanao.
“Starting next year, we will be very
aggressive in going to the regions, Visayas, Mindanao, and North Luzon to
service our Camella buyers and all the home buyers and contractors nationwide,”
Villar said.
“This is a logical expansion. My dream is to be nationwide. We (Vista Land)
are now in 70 cities and municipalities nationwide and it will easily reach the
100 mark. As we cover the nation with houses, buyers seem to look for where
they will buy things for their homes,” he added.
The Villar Group of Companies, through
listed property firm Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., has become the country’s
largest and most geographically diverse builder of house and lots.
AllHome is a one-stop shop for all
housing needs that caters to contractors, architects, interior designers and
homeowners by offering a wide range of products and services.
