Cebu Pacific starts daily routes to Tuguegarao

Budget airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) will start its direct daily flights from Manila to Tuguegarao today using its brand new ATR 72-500 aircraft.

The flight leaves Manila at 5:55 a.m. and arrives in Tuguegarao at 7:05 a.m. The return flight leaves Tuguegarao at 7:25 a.m. and lands in Manila at 8:35 a.m.

The lowest year round “all-inclusive fare” for the Manila-Tuguegarao service starts at P1,199 one-way.

Candice Iyog, CEB spokesperson, said, “We hope to spur travel and business activities in Tuguegarao and its neighboring provinces as we have done in other parts of the country where we currently operate. Our entry to this new destination has immediately caused the lowering of fares by other airlines that used to monopolize the route. Cebu Pacific offers the lowest all-inclusive fares to this new market.”

Meanwhile, CEB has just announced the extension of its all-in seat sale up to June 22, 2008.

“If people act quickly, they can even avail of a P699 all inclusive seat sale fare from Manila to Tuguegarao. This is even cheaper than taking a bus to Northern Luzon,” Iyog emphasized.

CEB continues to be the single largest domestic carrier in the Philippines, with the most number of domestic destinations that will include Naga next Tuesday and San Jose Mindoro on July 1, 2008.

CEB has flown 5.5 million passengers in 2007. It has a fleet of ten A319s, eight A320s, and two ATR 72-500 aircraft. The airline flies to 15, soon to be 16, international destinations with the addition of Kota Kinabalu on July 18, 2008.
