A HOUSING project for the employees of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority will soon rise in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
DENR Secretary Lito Atienza said the project will be constructed on a 5.7 hectare lot near Mckinley Hill. He said efficient and hard-working employees are the priorities of the program, especially those who do not own a house.
President Macapagal-Arroyo approved Atienza’s recommendation to expand the area reserved for the DENR-NAMRIA housing project from 24,161 square meters to 57,262 square meters.
Atienza said they will create a committee to formulate the implementing rules and regulations of the project.
