THE BASES Conversion and Development
Authority (BCDA) is seeking consultants to conduct the appraisal for two properties
up for sale, a notice on the agncy’s Web site showed.
It is seeking appraisal for the
33.1-hectare Bonifacio South property and the 356-hectare Bataan Technology
Park.
The budget for the project is
P190,000.
Interested parties must send a
proposal to BCDA by Oct. 20.
BCDA said on Sept. 23 that it intends
to auction off Bonifacio South by next month. The property is located along
Lawton Avenue and is between Newport City and McKinley in the southern portion
of Bonifacio Global City.
BCDA subjected the property to a Swiss
challenge in August 2010 after it received an unsolicited proposal from SM
Land, Inc. to develop it for at least P20 billion.
But a review by the Office of the
President resulted in a ruling last Aug. 15 to put the property up for bidding
instead. BCDA has invited SM Land to participate in the bidding for Bonifacio
