Century
Properties Group Inc. said it is on track with the opening of the Century City
Mall on Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City in the fourth quarter of 2013.
CPG said in a
statement the mall, located within the company’s mixed-use vertical village
called Century City, would be the newest standalone retail center to open in
Makati in six years.
The
five-story shopping mall offers 110 retail spaces covering 17,000 square meters
of net leasable space. The mall also has three basement floors for visitors’
parking.
CPG co-chief
operating officer and managing director Marco Antonio said the sign up of
retail spaces for Century City Mall had exceeded expectations.
“We are very
excited to open Century City Mall because of its mix of brands, high-end
cinemas, dining options and concept stores. It will be open to the public, and
will also serve as the neighborhood lifestyle and retail center for Century
City residents, tenants and guests,” Antonio said.
“We expect to
generate high foot traffic at Century City Mall because of its exciting mix of
retail tenants that will complement what is presently available in other malls
within Makati,” Antonio said.
The Century
City development comprises several luxury residential towers, including
Gramercy Residences, Knightsbridge Residences, the Versace Home-interior
designed Milano Residences, Trump Tower at Century City and the outpatient
medical building called Centuria Medical Makati.
CPG raised
P1.6 billion through top-up offering in March to help fund landbanking
activities.
