REAL ESTATE
services firm Jones Lang LaSalle announced that it has opened a new business
process outsourcing (BPO) services center in the country to support help desk
functions, the company said in a statement.
The new center “has been launched in response
to a growing demand from businesses for increased productivity from their
corporate real estate portfolios.”
The center,
which is located in the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City, is expected to
process over 700,000 work orders per year.
These work
orders include repair requests, relocations, security, incident management,
workplace services and vendor management for Asia-Pacific, the United States
and Europe. “By centralizing our help desk services, we can meet our clients’
demands for a global support system that is both consistent and cost effective
and, in turn, facilitate improvements in productivity,” said Jordi Martin,
chairman of the Integrated Facilities Management Global Board of Jones Lang
LaSalle, in the statement.
He added
“real estate outsourcing is increasing across more diverse geographies, sectors
and functions.”
Jones Lang
LaSalle said it chose to establish its center in the Philippines due to the
strong infrastructure and language capabilities along with low operating costs.
