MANILA, Philippines - China Banking
Corp. is inaugurating today its newly-completedP400-million 17-story office
facility in Cebu Business Park.
The China Bank Corporate Center,
accredited by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), caters to business
process outsourcing (BPO) companies and is adjacent to the 1,780-square meter
China Bank Cebu Business Center which opened in 2009.
China Bank chairman Hans Sy said the
corporate center will be a premier office location providing first-rate work
environment for BPO companies.
“It is now ready for occupancy and we welcome
tenants looking at taking their businesses to new heights,” Sy said in a
statement.
The corporate center features a high
performance energy efficient double-glazed curtain wall system, providing
better heat and sound insulation and reduced air-conditioning load requirement
for the entire building than ordinary single glazed panels.
It is fully fitted with important
provisions and amenities, including 100-percent power back-up supply, dual
piping system, variable refrigerant volume (VRV) air conditioning system,
redundant telecommunication facilities, fire protection system and fire exits,
24/7 security with CCTV and access controls.
It also features four high-speed
elevators (three for passengers and one for service), a delivery and service
bay, a helipad, a contemporary cafeteria with al fresco dining area at the
third floor, and 96 parking slots from the third floor to the sixth floor.
The sleek, modern building has a gross
floor area of 15,895 square meters, nearly 6,000 square meters of which are
office space for lease (from the 9th floor to the 17th floor).
The average office space is
approximately 718 square meters, which can be leased at affordable rates.
According to Sy, China Bank Corporate
Center is proof of China Bank’s continued commitment to the development of the
Queen City of the South.
“Cebu is home to China Bank’s first ever
provincial branch, Cebu-Magallanes, opened in 1948. Now, it has a branch
network of 23 China Bank, two China Bank Savings, and three Plantersbank
branches serving the banking needs of the residents and entrepreneurs of Cebu
and contributing to the vitality of the local economy,” he added.
