Dubai-based Kingdom Hotel Investments (KHI) Property Inc., a leading international hotel and resort investment company, and the partner developer of Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, owner of high-end Raffles Hotels and Resorts, is considering to put up another project in the country, apart from its 30-storey accommodation facility in Makati City.
Company vice president Jeff Tisdall told reporters yesterday about the possibility of the company developing another luxury hotel complex in one of the major tourist sites or beaches in the country.
Asked if KHI would also look into other strategic sites here, Tisdall said “Kingdom remains focused in emerging markets. We are interested in any location if it offers high growth, yes, it is possible that we go to the province for our next project here.”
The Raffles Manila was one of the three major ventures of the company cited during the presentation. The other two are located in the China Beach of Da Nang Vietnam and in Preslin, Seychelles, an island located at the heart of Indian Ocean near the Maldives Island in Africa.
Out of the three ventures, Raffles Manila was the lone project to be located in an urban area near the Glorietta Mall, Ayala. Ayen Infante
