Australia-based Acquire Asia Pacific Philippines, Inc. is considering putting up a second facility in the country next year, adding some 1,500 to 1,800 seats to its current 1,200-seat capacity.

Dana F. Andel, Acquire Asia country manager, said a second site is a serious option given its growing number of clients.

Acquire Asia Pacific, which currently caters to the inbound and outbound needs of a leading Australian-based telecommunications ISP provider, is now in talks with four new clients, one of which is a reputable company based in the US.

"We only have one client so far, which is an Australian company, but hopefully we are going to have a US client coming in," Andel said in an interview.

Acquire Asia Pacific is a wholly-owned Australian company serving America, Europe, Asia and New Zealand.

The company specializes in design, implementation and management of inbound and outbound customer contact solutions including back office and white paper services.

Acquire Asia Pacific has recently invested over $ 1 million to set up to a brand new facility along Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City, where it currently employs over 700 call center agents, both inbound and outbound.

The newly-developed site, which has a 1,200-capacity, handles 5,000 to 7,000 inbound calls a day, the company said.
