A SPRAWLING 800-hectare property, designed to be a “mini-Singapore,” is fast rising in scenic Batulao, Nasugbu, Batangas – the latest multi-billion peso venture of businessman Ambassador L. Cabangon Chua.
Intended to be a self-contained total community, the project called Sandari Batulao is being undertaken by Citystate Properties & Management Corp., the real estate wing of Cabangon Chua’s highly diversified Fortune Group of Companies.
Citystate, an emerging key player in the burgeoning property market, has tied up with some Singaporean investors who are bullish on the Philippine economy’s growth potentials.
Liu Thai Ker, an internationally-acclaimed Singaporean architect who planned, designed and executed the urban development of Singapore, one of the world’s most modern city-states, is handling the Batulao project’s architectural designs and requirements.
Sandari Batulao, located in Barangay Caylaway at the foot of the Mounts Batulao and Talamitan, is accessible from Metro Manila in a little more than one hour. Blessed with cool weather like Tagaytay, work on the project’s first phase, or about 40 hectares of the total land area, is in full-swing.
