Cebu Pacific (CEB), the airline business of JG Summit Holdings Inc., will mount additional flights to Butuan and Tagbilaran this summer period.

Beginning May 17, 2008, CEB will add a four times weekly A319 flight to Butuan namely: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The additional flight departs from Manila at 06:10 a.m. and arrives in Butuan at 7:35 a.m. It departs from Butuan at 8:05 a.m. and lands in Manila at 9:30 a.m. on the return flight.

CEB will further mount an additional A319 service three times weekly (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) to Tagbilaran. The flight leaves Manila at 6:30 a.m. and lands in Tagbilaran at 7:55 a.m. The return flight departs for Manila at 8:25 a.m. and arrives at 9:40 a.m.

Currently, CEB flies a daily A320 service to Butuan and a twice daily A319 service to Tagbilaran. We are confident that we can sell the additional seats with our low fares and further encourage domestic travel to these destinations.

“We are now the biggest carrier operating the most flights to Butuan and Tagbilaran,” said Candice Iyog, CEB vice president for marketing and product. The lowest Go fare to Butuan starts from P688 one-way and Tagbilaran starts from P288 one-way. Fare is exclusive of applicable surcharges and government tax. Now in its 13th year, CEB continues to have the youngest fleet in the Philippines. CEB flies to 12, soon to be 15, international destinations with the addition of Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi and Kaohsiung. CEB also operates flights to 21 domestic destinations.
