Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC), the property development arm of Gokongwei flagship firm JG Summit Holdings Inc., will put up a seven-hectare middle-income residential subdivision in Angeles City, Pampanga.

The project, Forest Parkhomes, is conveniently located near Robinsons Place-Angeles and the Clark Special Economic Zone, and is only 45 minutes away from Metro Manila through the North Luzon Expressway. A Mediterranean-inspired master-planned community, it will offer a total of 277 lots, with sizes ranging from 150 to180 square meters.

The project will be offering option for housing through the newly-launched Robinsons Dream Homes Collection, RLC said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange.

Forest Parkhomes will include amenities such as a gate and guardhouse, gazebo, playground, multi-purpose play court, activity center, centralized water and drainage system, perimeter fence and landscaping.

Forest Parkhomes is RLC’s fifth project in Pampanga and is a joint venture with Don Pepe Henson Enterprises Inc.

This project is seen to fortify RLC’s position as a regional leader in property development in Northern Luzon. The company is the first big Manila-based developer to enter the Ilocos region, both in Laoag and Vigan.

RLC has two completed and six ongoing projects in Northern Luzon.

RLC has earmarked P13.9 billion over the next two years for the construction of new malls, office buildings and housing projects and for landbanking. Of the total capital budget, 40 percent will go to new malls which will rise in Dumaguete, Bulacan, Tagaytay, Davao, Tacloban and Gen. Santos as well as for the refurbishment of existing ones to keep up with the intense competition in the industry.

About 30 percent of the capex will be used to build new offices catering to the busines process outsourcing industry. Ongoing projects include the construction of Robinsons Cybergate Center Tower 3 which will have a gross floor area of approximately 56,000 square meters.

Plans are also underway for two buildings, one within Robinsons Cybergate Center, and another in Ortigas Center which will add a combined leasable gross floor area of 90,000 sqm.

RLC recently acquired its fourth property in Fort Bonifacio Global City along Mckinley Drive and Fifth Avenue. It plans to develop the 1,188-square meter property into an upscale twin-tower residential project.

The company also acquired five hectares of land with a 170-meter beachfront in Mactan, Cebu which will be converted into a landmark five-star condo-resort.
