Robinsons Land Corp., (RLC), the real estate development arm of the family of tycoon John Gokongwei, is beefing up its presence in Antipolo City with its latest residential project, St. Bernice Estates.

RLC said the new project, which will rise on a 3.5-hectare property along the Antipolo-Teresa Highway in Bgy. San Jose, Antipolo City, will offer lots only with an option for housing and two-story townhouses.

Lots are priced at P7,000 per square meter while a story-townhouse amounts to P1.3 million.

The minimum cut per lot is 120 square meters if lot only and 48 square meters if house and lot.

St. Bernice Estates, an expansion of its existing San Jose Estates, will showcase modern architectural designs and concepts, facilities and amenities which include a gate and guardhouse, multi-purpose court, pocket parks, children’s play area, function hall, swimming pool and perimeter fence.

“The success of the first project and the growing demand it generated for more residential projects in Antipolo City prompted RLC-HLDD to expand by going into the development of St. Bernice,” RLC said in a statement.

As of mid-2007, OFWs accounted for about 41 percent of total sales of RLC’s housing division.

RLC believes that the potential for growth is in the affordable to middle-cost high-rise condominium developments and in the middle-cost to high-end horizontal residential segments of the market.

As of Sept. 30, 2007, RLC’s housing and land development division had 26 ongoing projects, of which four had been completed while ten had been substantially sold.

RLC plans to launch nine new housing projects which will offer a total of 3,472 units.

These include Monte Del Sol, Costa Verde, Forest Parkhomes North, Hanalei Heights, Wellington Courtyard, Brighton Parkplace, Blue Coast Residences, Brighton Parkplace North and Montclair Highlands.

It intends to develop at least three housing projects annually.
