Alphaland building gets new locators

LISTED PROPERTY company Alphaland Corp. announced yesterday two business process outsourcing firms are moving into its 20-storey building in Makati.
Teleperformance Philippines, a call center firm, and software provider Rainmaker Systems, Inc. have chosen the Alphaland Southgate Tower for their expansion sites, the property firm said in a statement.
These are the first two firms to move into the building that are not affiliated with Alphaland and other Roberto V. Ongpin-owned companies.
Locators in the building on the corner of Epifanio de los Santos and Chino Roces avenues can obtain tax and other incentives as the site is registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, Alphaland noted.
“We are delighted to have been chosen by two well-established BPOs as the site for their expansion of operations in the country,” Alphaland President Mario A. Oreta said in the statement.
The building -- originally intended for the defunct Delta Motors group -- is close to the Magallanes station of Metro Rail Transit Line 3 and is beside a three-storey shopping mall. It has 36,000 square meters of space for lease, the company said on its Web site.
