SM Development Corp. (SMDC) recently launched Tower 3 of its residential condominium project in Mandaluyong City — the Light Residences.
The Light Residences, located at the corner of Madison Street and Edsa in Mandaluyong City has three towers wherein Tower 1 of the condominium project is already under construction, while its Tower 2 is expected to begin construction by the first half of 2012.
SMDC president Roger Cabuñag said the construction of the Light Residences’ Tower 3 is SMDC’s timely response to the still growing demand for quality yet affordable homes in the area and in other parts of Metro Manila. “Located along Edsa, which is the metropolis’ major and historic highway, Light Residences offers unparalleled accessibility and convenience, especially for those who prefer living close to the financial and business districts of Mandaluyong, Pasig and Makati,” Cabuñag added.
Launched last year, the Light Residences, occupying approximately two hectares of land with each tower having 42 floors and offering a combined total of 4,231 units, has a total cost of estimated at P6.8 billion and is projected to be fully completed by the first half of 2015.
Its generous amenities include swimming pools with shower rooms, a recreational area, children’s playground, commercial areas, jogging path, and wireless Internet connection in common areas, among others.
Aside from the Light Residences, SMDC currently has 11 other residential projects which are Chateau Elysee, a mid-rise condominium project in Bicutan, Parañaque City; Mezza Residences, which is just across SM City Sta. Mesa; Lindenwood Residences, a residential subdivision in Muntinlupa City; Berkeley Residences in Katipunan Road, Quezon City; Grass Residences, which is beside SM City North Edsa; Sea Residences in front of SM’s Mall of Asia in Pasay City; Field Residences at the back of SM City Sucat in Parañaque City; Princeton Residences, which is beside the Gilmore Station of LRT 2 along Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City; Sun Residences right beside the Mabuhay (formerly Welcome) Rotunda near the Quezon Avenue boundary of Quezon City and Manila; Jazz Residences along Jupiter Road in Bel Air, Makati City; and Wind Residences along the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Tagaytay City.
