The Board of Investments has granted tax incentives and other perks to a mass housing project in Iloilo City.
The incentives-giving agency approved the registration of IVQ Landholdings Inc.’s P198.6-million low-cost housing development called North Springville Townhomes.
The company would build 300 townhouse units on a 1.98-hectare tract of land in Barangay Tacas. Each house would have a 44-square meter floor area.
This is the first mass housing project that IVQ Landholdings has registered with BOI. The project would start commercial operations in July, and would enjoy up to four years of income tax holiday among other perks.
IVQ Landholdings has four other existing mass housing developments in Iloilo.
