MANILA, Philippines - Robinsons Land is giving its five-level Robinsons Metro East a major facelift after nearly a decade of successful operations.
Robinsons Malls general manager Arlene G. Magtibay said the redevelopment is very timely given the burgeoning residential communities sprouting in the area.
“We want to maintain Robinsons Metro East’s status as the preferred shopping destination for the entire family in eastern Metro Manila,” she said.
Conveniently situated at a major crossroad along Marcos Highway in Pasig City, Robinsons Metro East is home to over 300 local and international retail shops, dining outlets, entertainment facilities and service providers. It serves as a significant gateway to over two million residents of Marikina, Cogeo, Cainta, Antipolo and San Mateo, Rizal.
Magtibay said Robinsons Metro East will introduce new foreign and local brands, conveniently zoned to enable shoppers to easily locate their favorite shops.
Thus far, the mall has introduced three new zones: My Domain for technology buffs, the Food Loft for those looking for food on the go and for bringing into the nearby cinemas, and Body Senses which specializes in hair and skin care for those who want to relax and pamper themselves.
Magtibay said the renovation is expected to be completed by December.
As part of the redevelopment program, Robinsons Metro East is also renovating its cinemas to give shoppers a more exciting viewing experience.
The mall’s interiors will also soon sport a more sleek and elegant look while the mall’s exteriors will have a more streamlined building facade and enhanced landscaping.
Robinsons Land currently has 29 shopping malls nationwide with two new malls – Robinsons Place Palawan and Robinsons Calasiao - slated to open soon.
Soon to be completed are expansion projects of Robinsons Place Tacloban and Robinsons Place Bacolod.
