MarketPlace in Milpitas, California, the group’s first retail venture in the
US.
The US showroom is in adition to ALI’s

The move is aimed at addressing the
housing and investment requirements of the growing number of Filipinos
overseas.
“We want to grow with our kababa-yans
abroad by being present in key cities around the world. But more than that, we
hope to journey with them as they aspire and fulfill their dreams for their
families,” said Thomas F. Mirasol, vice president of ALI and president of Ayala
Land International Sales Inc.
Based on latest data from the
Commission on Filipinos Overseas, an estimated 9.4 million Filipinos live and
work in various parts of the globe. About three million are based in the United
States.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
likewise reported an increase in OFW remittances by 7.2 percent, totalling $20

“There is a greater interest from
overseas Filipinos to invest in the Philippines and we want Ayala Land to be at
the forefront in addressing the housing requirements of this dynamic market
segment,” Mirasol said.
The company is further widening its
geographic footprint across the country through the establishment of
large-scale, integrated, mixed use developments.
