The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 12 out of 21 passed the Landscape Architect Licensure Examination given by the Board of Landscape Architecture in Manila this March, 2008.
The successful examinees who garnered the 10 highest places are the following: Rodel Berber Demafelis, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 76.05; Christian Ceasar Santos Pineda, Adamson University, 75.80; Jhoanne Padua Mamalayan, University of the Philippines- Diliman, 75.65; Mary Grace Villaverde Obmerga, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 74.85; Joanne Krisna Mortel Mozo, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 74.50; Joaquin Balingit Rodriguez, Far Eastern University-Manila, 73.65; Nerissa Joyce Lagamson Reyes, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 73.25; Gerraween Ann Ubalde Paz, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 73.10; Faith Yoriko Takaoka Patacsil, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 71.55; Kristoffer Joseph Flores Lobregat, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 71.45.
On the Board of Landscape Architecture which gave the licensure examination are Carlito B. Pesons, chairman; Cecilia H. Tence and Cynthia M. Sundiang, members.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Thursday, March 13, 2008 but not later than April 4, 2008. Those who will register are required to bring the following: Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1" x 1" picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of R600 and annual registration fee of R450 for 2008-2011. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Saturday, April 12, 2008.
