Felcris
Hotels and Resorts Corp. has tapped Colliers International Philippines to take
charge of the leasing efforts of Felcris Building, which is part of its
P5-billion master-planned community, Felcris Centrale.
Felcris
Centrale is comprised of a commercial and retail mall, office buildings, and a
residential and hotel complex. The first phase of the project will be the
completion of the mall and business process outsourcing (BPO) building, a
10-floor and 15,000-square mater structure.
The office
component of the community, Felcris Building, which Colliers PH will take care
of, is currently underway with pile driving works completed and excavation
being rolled out. Felcris Building is the first of the many developments within
the complex and is expected for completion by the end of 2013.
Felcris
Centrale will be Davao City’s newest focal point where business and
entertainment converge.
Felcris
Hotels also tapped other international consultancy firms to aid them in making
the community a reality.
Palafox
Associates was appointed for urban planning while BRYCG Group will be its
financial consultants. Being at the top of Next Wave City ranking of the
Business Processing Association of the Philippines, Davao City is seen to be
the foremost city to host BPO operations outside of Metro Manila.
Yap-owned
Felcris Hotels announced in the previous year that it will invest P5 billion
for Felcris Centrale. The first phase of the project will be the completion of
the mall and BPO building at the cost of at least P1 billion.
Covering more
than 54,000 square meters of floor area, Felcris Centrale will feature a
12-storey commercial complex with a 10-floor office space, and a two-level
retail and entertainment center complete with supermarket, boutiques,
restaurants and specialty shops.
Colliers
International, on the other hand, is a global leader in real estate services
with more than 12,300 professionals operating out of 522 offices in 62
countries.
