DMCI Homes acquires Parañaque property

September 8, 2011, 2:42am [ Manila Bulletin Online ]

MANILA, Philippines — DMCI Homes knows where to build next. The company puts premium on site hunting — all properties to be acquired should fall under their discerning taste and pass its rigid technical requirements. The site should be sound for construction – not along fault lines, not flood-prone. The structure to be built should also be earthquake-sound.

These requirements are embodied in its newest offering in Barangay Sto. Niño, Parañaque City. This development is an exclusive, gated mid-rise condo complex that will be home to about 11 buildings with 1,299 residential units and 932 parking slots.

According to Rey C. Salazar, DMCI Homes director for business development, the newly acquired property used to be owned by the Pascual family and reclassified as Commercial 3 in zoning. The site, formerly used as salt beds and a fish pond, had undergone soil test and passed the requirements of its technical team.

This will be the future address of DMCI Home’s target market: people occupying middle to top management positions in reputable companies. These families may already have primary homes but are looking for an ideal home in Parañaque that is accessible to everything significant to their family’s needs. They are looking for a new home where their kids can grow up comfortably and have the same enjoyable childhood as they have.

This project will offer a gated complex with a unit mix of two-bedroom units perfect for young start-up families. The two-bedroom cuts are pegged at 42 to 58 sqm.

For frequent travelers, accessibility will be no problem; the property is along J.P. Rizal Street, close to the NAIA terminals.

For the shopping addicts, mall lovers and party-goers, SM Mall of Asia, Newport City and Aseana Business Park are the places to go anytime they want to.

The project is set to redefine modern comfort and will be furnished like a true Asian tropical resort. For its façade, it will be draped by earth-toned colors to provide a soothing and relaxing feeling for the urban dwellers.

The buildings will have high-pitched cable roofs, horizontal lines (trellises) and long overhung roofs to provide shade during hot daylight.
